Who we are
Nord Electrical Limited (“Nord Electrical”, “we”) operates this website. Questions about this notice can be sent to info@nordelectrical.co.nz.

What we collect
When you submit a project request we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, suburb or region, and details about the property and the system you are interested in, such as property type, roof, energy use, goals and timing, plus any notes you choose to add.
We do not ask for your street address online. That is only needed if a site assessment goes ahead, and we will ask for it then.

Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare for a conversation or site assessment, and keep a record of what was discussed. Energy and roof details are used to understand the request; they are not a completed design.

Where it is stored
Project requests are stored in a hosted database used to manage enquiries, and a copy is emailed to Nord Electrical through an email delivery provider acting on our behalf. Access is limited to people at Nord Electrical who handle enquiries. We do not sell personal information.

Analytics and browser storage
If analytics is enabled, the site records page level events, for example pages viewed, whether the configurator or project form was started and completed, and clicks on phone or email links. Your name, email and phone number are never sent to analytics. Analytics tools may use cookies, which you can control in your browser.
Configurator answers and an unfinished project request are kept in your browser’s session storage so you do not lose your place. They stay on your device and clear when the browser session ends.

How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as they are useful for the enquiry and any resulting work, and delete them when they are no longer needed unless we are required to keep them.

Your choices
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, by emailing info@nordelectrical.co.nz. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
